Site Management Services

Facility Walk-through Safety Inspection

When OSHA visits your facility, they will conduct a walk-thru investigation of your business. Van’s can provide observations and compliance suggestions for your business by performing regular walk-thru inspections. This would avoid issues with OSHA should they visit you. A copy of the walk-thru check list is provided to the management for appropriate follow up and corrective action.

During a site audit, your Van’s consultant will look at facility management, employee safety, equipment quality and maintenance, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic air use and management, proper material handling and storage, housekeeping practices, and compliance signage. During the planning or remodeling of a facility, we will provide advice on requirements and give helpful hints to facility construction.

Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) requires that all employers with hazardous chemicals in their workplaces must have labels and MSDSs for their exposed workers, and train them to handle the chemicals appropriately. Information must be available about the identities and hazards of chemicals in the workplace to ensure chemical safety.

Van’s assists our customers with preparing proper labeling and provides an on-demand solution for locating and printing material safety data sheets, making it easier to meet regulatory compliance and deploy Right-to-Know information to your employees.
