OSHA/EPA Compliance Training

Van's Environmental Services provides on-site OSHA/EPA compliance training for employees in English or Spanish. OSHA general regulations specify that all new employees have general safety and PPE training. There are many OSHA training standards.  Classes are held on site on a determined schedule to bring all applicable employees up to OSHA standards.  Employee attendance is tracked per OSHA requirements.  Special topics can be covered in these sessions as requested by employers.  There are signed safety forms completed by each employee in the class which are left with the employer.

   •   Respirator Training
   •   Heat Stress
   •   Back Safety 

 •   Packaging, labeling and appropriate shipping forms for national and/or international shipping
of hazardous material
 •   On-site training required by transporters for all new employees prior to handling materials
 •   Mandatory renewal every 3 years 

 •   Required by OSHA for any employee providing forklift operation at the worksite
 •   Class includes federal and state safety standards, equipment characteristics and capacity, and employee driver competency demonstration
 •   Mandatory renewal every 3 years 

 Van’s maintains a record of all safety training provided. Records are available for OSHA’s review and can provide evidence of the employers’ compliance with OSHA standards.
